TECHNIQUE CLASSES 

 

LEAPS AND TURNS 

Intermediate/Advanced level. Simultaneously training in ballet, a minimum of 2 hours per week, is a requirement to attend this class. It will consist of a center warm-up and focus on turning and leaping technique. 

Class Attire: any color leotard or lycra top with leggings, spandex shorts or tights. Bring ballet slippers, jazz shoes, and foot paws or socks. Hair must be in a pony tail or bun.

 


 

ACROBATICS - Offered one day per week for students age 8-12 years.                                                                                                       

Fridays at 4-5pm (1 hr/week)

Beginner/Intermediate level.  Simultaneously training in ballet, a minimum of 2 hours per week, is a requirement to attend this class. This class focuses on teaching the students basic tricks such as hand-stands, walk-overs, cartwheels, side aerials and back handsprings. These are tricks often implemented in dance routines. It will consist of a center warm-up and include strengthening and stretching exercises, as a certain level of strength and body control is necessary to master any of the above listed tricks.

Class Attire: any color leotard or lycra top with leggings, spandex shorts or tights. Bare foot! Hair must be in a pony tail or bun.
