CLASSES FOR STUDENTS AGE 9-18 YEARS

TAP MINI II/JUNIOR - ages 9-12 years.

Mondays at 6:15-7:00pm. 

Beginner level. In this class the students will learn basic tap, such as toes, heals, toe-heals, brush and drag, eventually combining all the acquired steps into various combinations. The primary goal of this class is to teach the students a sense of rhythm and musicality, while 'drumming' with their feet. 

 

TAP TEEN - ages 13-18 years. 

Wednesdays at 7:45-8:45pm.

Intermediate Level. This class will build on fundamentals and will start to incorporate different combinations both across the floor and center floor. This level will further advance their basic steps, work on muscle memory and flexibility. There will be an introduction to more complex steps, also focusing on upper body movement and positioning - arms, shoulders and head.
